Overview and Expectations
PrepLogX is a simplified approach to helping students create and execute an effective study plan, while providing insight into the student’s progress through the progression of the plan. If followed consistently with the student’s full commitment, the PrepLogX study prep methodology will help the student improve exam scores while acquiring lasting study & organizational skills that can be applied to future projects, classes, and endeavors.
Following is an outline of the PrepLogX framework.
Plan Development:
- Exam Data Collection: tested subjects, exam date, current grade, score goal.
- Assessment of subjects: student self-assessment followed by tutor’s assessment.
- Study time estimates: estimated study times required for each subject to achieve proficiency.
- Creation of initial study plan: realistic time allotment and mapping of each subject.
Plan Execution:
- Core Sessions: Subject tutoring, new assessments, study plan adjustments and guidance.
- Study & Practice: Student studies and practices tutoring session and class material.
- Support Sessions: Answer questions, review progress, assess, address issues, make adjustments.
- Assessments and Adjustments: Ongoing assessments and readiness checks throughout engagement to optimize student’s preparedness for exam.
Plan Completion:
- Review: Thorough review and practice of all subjects, 24-48 hours prior to exam.
