How We Tutor

Our tutoring is delivered through a team of instructors who are selected for their subject and instructional expertise and ability to naturally “connect” with students…with each tutor specifically matched to the specific needs of the student.

To address gaps in preparation skills which are a common cause of proficiency gaps 1 , we incorporate study and organizational skills coaching into our tutoring engagements.  This is done through our PrepLogX framework, which was developed based on tutoring extensive experience and time-tested study practices.

PrepLogX is a logical, straightforward approach to building and executing effective exam and project plans.  Students learn the PrepLogX framework during their tutoring engagement, so effective preparation is immersed in the tutoring process, which provides more relevance and retention as opposed to a stand-alone process.

The PrepLogX process starts with an an assessment of the student’s readiness for the exam or project, from which a student plan is created and implemented with guidance from the tutor, with progress tracked in the PrepLogX Readiness Dashboard.  The dashboard provides ongoing clarity into the readiness of the student and what adjustments are needed – an essential tool for effective preparation.  Click here to learn more about PrepLogX.
