Director of Academic Strategy Brittany Mack
We are excited to introduce Brittany Mack, our Director of Academic Strategy and Partnerships. In this role she propels instructional design for both school-based and private tutoring programs. Brittany brings 10 years of experience at KIPP Indy, where she progressed from classroom teacher to region-level instructional leader.
Rooted in her experience as a teacher and instructional leader, Brittany’s work in academic strategy is guided by a commitment to educational equity, rigor, and measurable student impact. At KIPP Indy Public Schools, she set the vision and led instructional design grounded in data analysis, intentional progress monitoring, and teacher development through real-time coaching.
At Proficiency Builders, Brittany brings a systems-level approach to closing proficiency gaps, with expertise in foundational K–8 literacy. She is passionate about developing tiered instructional models that are research-aligned, culturally responsive, and tailored to accelerate student growth.
Her leadership is shaped by a belief that every student deserves targeted, thoughtfully designed instruction—and that strong strategy must begin with listening to data, students and families, teachers, and the community. By aligning instructional goals with clear metrics, coaching systems, and cross-sector partnerships, she works to build educational experiences that are equitable, coherent, and deeply impactful.
